Health & Safety Advisors – Meat Processing | Wellington
Location: Ngauranga Gorge, Wellington (10 minutes from CBD)

As a result of an internal restructure and our commitment to enhancing technical and practical health and safety capability, we are seeking experienced Health & Safety Advisors to join our team. These roles are critical in embedding robust safety practices and fostering a strong safety culture across our operations.
What You’ll Do
- Act as a trusted advisor on all health and safety matters.
- Implement and monitor injury prevention and risk management programmes.
- Ensure compliance with OSH legislation, HACCP, and company policies.
- Support ACC audits, staff training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with operational leaders to integrate safety into daily processes.
- Provide technical guidance and practical solutions to improve workplace safety.
About You
- Proven experience in health and safety advisory roles, ideally within meat processing, manufacturing or Construction.
- Strong knowledge of industrial health and safety systems, compliance, and risk management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Intermediate Excel skills and strong process management capability.
- OSH qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
